Werkwijze Start with 4 strands see Figuur A
In between every 2 ends add 1 strand with a total of 3 strands.
Pull 1 weave strand tightly and the other weave strand not so tight. The result the contour will be pulled round. Ther will be an "inside" strand and an "Outside" strand. See figureB
Add 4 strands in 1 straight divide the strands evenly over the scoubidou. Keep on pulling the weave strands as defined earlier. See figure B.

Put the iron strand of 140 mm in a white strand and add it to the scoubidou as you see in figure DThose will be the tooth.

Add strands in the middle for the nose. First see how long the strands are still on the scoubidou. Next you add up to 5 strands (10 ends).
Start the head before the body and head are joined..

Head The face needs 7 strands and you need 8 strands for each ear. Tha t makes a total 23 strands
Start the face with 3 strands 2 Purple and 1 glitter purple as weave strand. (Figure E)

Start the ear with 3 strands 2 Purple and 1 transparent purple as weave strand. (Figure E)

Join the 3 parts with the help of an metal strand wich you measure on your work, Total wideness off the face and the ears together. Knit with every part a lose knot and put the Metal strand in the center of the knot and pull the it tightly.
In the next straight knot you use the weave strands which are on the outside off the ears as weave strands. All the other weave strands us use as normal knoting strand.
1 straight.
Know you start with putting the nose strands trough the face. Use the pattern in the figure F
Put 1 strand throug in 1 straight
Put 2 strand throug in 1 straight
Put 4 strand throug in 1 straight
on every location youpu 2 strands throug.
Put 2 strand throug in 1 straight
Put 1 strand throug in 1 straight

Cut away in both ears the 2 middle strands. Add 4 strands off Pearl on both side 2 off the nose for the tooth.
Pull all the strands off the nose tightly. The head should be tightly on the body before you continue with the rest off the elephant.
In 1 straight knot the metal strands off the tooth can be put through
The ears and the face are seperatd again.Choose 4 ends ase weave strand on the border off face and ears. Use the discipyion off joining in reverse order.

Continue face:
1 straight.
Cut away 2 strands
2 straight.
Cut away 2 strands
1 straight.
Cut away 2 strands
Cut all strands wich are left over
Continue Ear:
Cut away 2 strands on the outside off the ear
2 straight.
Cut away 2 strands on the outside off the ear
2 straight.
Cut away 2 strands on the outside off the ear
2 straight.
Cut away 2 strands on the outside off the ear
2 straight.
Cut away 2 strands on the outside off the ear
2 straight.
Cut all strands wich are left over
Nose:

For the nose you use the knot which is going round and round as you can see in the figure.
Start with 10 strands.
5 knots
Put in a metal strand which is bended exactly in the middle. The bended part is added in the holow place in the middle of the nose.
Cut away 1 strands

Cut away 1 strands

Cut away 1 strands

Cut away 1 strands and 1 part off the metal strand
9 knots
Cut away 1 strands and the back side off the nose.There must be 3 strands left at the front off the nose.
Cut away the last metal strand.
Before you cut away the last strands make 2 knots
Tooth:
Use 6 strands for each tooth.
5 round knots normal scoubidou. .Watch out each tooth goes in the oposite direction from the other tooth.br> Cut away 2 strands
13 round
Cut away 1 strand
4 round
Cut away all strands
Legs:

20 a 25 round Watch out each side goes in the oposite direction from the other side.
